Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GENPROMPT (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding contract between you and the operator of GENPROMPT.

2. Description of Service

GENPROMPT is a web application that generates text-based prompts, stylistic descriptors and lyrical content for use with third-party AI music generation tools such as Suno AI. The Service is provided on a freemium basis: a Free tier with daily quotas, and paid tiers with expanded features. The Free tier requires no payment method and is not time-limited — it is how you try the Service before deciding to pay.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the generator. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, for all activity occurring under your account, and for providing accurate information during registration.

4. Usage Limits

Prompt generation is unlimited and requires no account. Lyric generation is subject to a daily limit, because it runs on a paid language model; that limit is shown in the product. Pro accounts are subject to fair-use limits intended to prevent abuse. We reserve the right to modify these limits with prior notice. Automated scripting, scraping or circumvention of quotas is prohibited and may result in immediate suspension.

5. Paid Plans, Prices and Renewal

As of 3 September 2026, GENPROMPT is free and no paid plan is sold any more. Checkout is closed; no new subscription can be created. The terms below remain in force for subscriptions taken out before that date, and continue to apply until they are cancelled.

The paid plans were: Pro Monthly — €9.99 per month, Pro Annual — €79.99 per year, and Master — €29.99 per month. We also sell one-off prompt packs at a fixed price with no recurring charge. The price you see is the total amount charged: no tax, fee or surcharge is added at checkout.

There is no free trial and no card is required to try the Service. The Free tier is the trial. When you subscribe, your card is charged immediately for the plan you chose, and the subscription renews automatically for the same period and price until you cancel. We will email you before any price change takes effect, and a price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We never see or store your full card number or CVV.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, online, in the same number of clicks it took to subscribe — from Account → Manage subscription, which opens the billing portal. No email, no phone call, no form, no retention interview. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep the paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. Your prompts, history and account are not deleted when a subscription ends; you simply return to the Free tier.

7. Refunds — 14 days, no questions asked

Ask us within 14 days of any charge and we refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason, and it does not matter how much you used the Service. This applies to every customer, everywhere, on every plan including annual, and it applies to each renewal charge as well as the first one. Write to the address in Section 15 and we process it to your original payment method.

This is deliberately more generous than the law requires of us, and it replaces the arrangement we used to describe here. Consumers in the European Union have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts under Directive 2011/83/EU, which a trader may ask them to waive for digital content supplied immediately. We do not ask you to waive it. Your statutory rights, including those of your country of residence, remain in full and are unaffected by anything in these Terms.

8. If a payment fails

If a renewal payment is declined, we email you and your paid features stay on for 14 more days while your bank and Stripe retry. If it still has not gone through after that, your account returns to the Free tier. Nothing you created is deleted — your prompts and history stay exactly where they are, and updating your card restores your plan. We never charge you for the days you spent on the Free tier.

9. Intellectual Property

Generated prompts and lyrics are provided for your personal and commercial use. GENPROMPT retains no ownership over prompts you generate and grants you a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them. You remain solely responsible for how you use the outputs, including compliance with the terms of any third-party AI tool (e.g. Suno AI). The GENPROMPT name, logo, UI, codebase and datasets remain the exclusive property of the operator.

10. Prohibited Use

You may not: (i) reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Service; (ii) use automated scripts, bots or scrapers to access the Service; (iii) share, resell or sublicense your account credentials; (iv) use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes third-party rights; (v) use the Service to build a competing product; (vi) circumvent billing or rate limits.

11. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer-protection law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings; deletion is immediate and permanent (subject to legal retention periods for billing records). If you have an active paid plan when you delete your account, tell us and we will refund the unused part of the period — deleting your account is not a way to lose money you already paid.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. EU consumers retain the mandatory protections of the law of their country of residence, and may bring proceedings in the courts of that country; for non-consumer claims the courts of Spain have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a complaint directly, you may contact the consumer protection authority of your country of residence.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 15 days in advance via email or an in-app banner. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. A change to price or to the refund policy never applies retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
